ABOUT I. L. COHEN

I.L. Cohen was educated as an engineer. In the late 1970's he developed a keen interest in archaeology because it offered many challenging, unsolved problems. His earlier fieldwork and writings on Stonehenge revealed an underlying basis for the solution of not only this enigmatic monument but also those of other equally-perplexing ancient civilizations. The author spent the next 30+ years carrying out extensive research on Egyptian archaeology. His approach has been to evaluate archaeological remnants from an engineering, technological and scientific viewpoint. Through this approach, he was able to solve many outstanding mysteries of Egyptian archaeology. He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, is a Past-Vice President of the Archaeological Institute of America (LI) and has lectured widely on his research at numerous colleges and community associations.
